de Nîmes

Op-Shopped scarf | Tall Rabbit ghost brooch | ASOS t-shirt | Op-Shopped denim skirt | ASOS bags | Market glitter jelly flats

This denim skirt cost more to alter than it did to purchase - a dilemma that really shits me to tears. The last thing I want to do when I pay a mere $4 to purchase something is to pay another $20.00 on altering the hemline. Lesson learned - buy a second hand sewing machine and risk it for the biscuit.

I haven't worn a denim skirt since my early teens (it is scary to know that this was 10 years ago now!). Something about them makes me feel like a trashy young girl hanging around at a shopping centre. That was until I discovered the high waisted denim skirt. I won't lie, I only bought this because I needed some denim that didn't show bottom (not that I own denim like this) for my OnWilliam market uniform. Now that I do own this skirt, I can tell it is quickly going to become a favourite!
